Embodiment 1

[0024] Preparation of Calcium Alginate and Propylene Glycol Alginate Blend Fiber

[0025] 3.6 kg of sodium alginate powder was dissolved in 80 liters of deionized water. In another container, 0.4 kg of propylene glycol alginate was dissolved in 16 liters of deionized water. After the two polymers are fully dissolved, the two solutions are mixed in a container and fully stirred to form a uniform spinning solution with a mass ratio of sodium alginate to propylene glycol alginate of 0.9 / 0.1. Squeeze the spinning solution under pressure with a metering pump on a spinneret with a hole number of 10,000 and a hole diameter of 80 microns into a solution containing 1.0% CaCl by mass. 2 The filaments are formed in a water bath, washed and dried to obtain a blended fiber containing calcium alginate and propylene glycol alginate. The obtained fiber is cut into 5 centimeters and processed into nonwoven fabric with nonwoven fabric equipment, and processed into gauze for wound healing afte...

[0030] Preparation of zinc alginate and propylene glycol alginate blend fiber

[0031] 3.8 kg of sodium alginate powder was dissolved in 88 liters of deionized water. In another container, 0.2 kg of propylene glycol alginate was dissolved in 8 liters of deionized water. After the two polymers are fully dissolved, the two solutions are mixed in a container and fully stirred to form a uniform spinning solution with a mass ratio of sodium alginate to propylene glycol alginate of 0.95 / 0.05. Squeeze the spinning solution with a metering pump under pressure on a spinneret with a hole number of 10,000 and a hole diameter of 80 microns into a 1.0% ZnCl by mass percentage. 2 The filaments are formed in a water bath, washed and dried to obtain a blended fiber containing zinc alginate and propylene glycol alginate. The obtained fiber is cut into 5 centimeters and processed into nonwoven fabric with nonwoven fabric equipment, and processed into gauze for wound healing after cutting and ...

Abstract

The invention provides alginate fiber as well as a preparation method and application of the alginate fiber. According to the invention, the ion-exchange property of the traditional calcium alginate fiber is improved, and an alginate and propylene glycol alginate blended fiber material with stronger hygroscopicity is provided. The invention provides the alginate fiber which is prepared by blending 50-99.5% of alginate and 0.5-50% of propylene glycol alginate by weight. The invention further provides a preparation method and application of the alginate fiber. Water-soluble non-ion type propylene glycol alginate is added to the blended fiber, the hygroscopicity of the fiber and medical dressing processed by the fiber are improved; and the fiber is particularly suitable for wound with more bleeding purulence, can prolong the service life of the product, reduces the replacing times of the dressing, reduces the patient pain and promotes the wound healing.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of materials, in particular to an alginate fiber and its preparation method and application. Background technique [0002] Alginic acid, also known as alginic acid, kelp gum, and alginate, is a natural polymer material extracted from brown algae. Alginic acid has many excellent properties and is widely used in food, medicine, textile, printing and dyeing, papermaking, daily chemical industry, wastewater treatment and other fields. It is one of the most used polymer materials in daily life. [0003] As a natural polymer, alginic acid has a very high molecular weight. The high viscosity alginic acid extracted from brown algae has a degree of polymerization of 600-1000, corresponding to a molecular weight of 120,000-190,000. Since the sodium salt of alginic acid is soluble in water, after dissolving sodium alginate in water to prepare spinning solution, alginic acid fiber can be prepared by wet spinning. The salt form...
