Problems solved by technology

The melt intercalation method does not require solvents, has high efficiency, is suitable for the preparation of most polymer composite materials, and is easy for industrial application, but the dispersion structure, mechanical properties, and air tightness of the composite materials are not as good as those prepared by the solution intercalation method. The performance of the composite material is excellent

Embodiment 1

[0045] The ratio of inorganic clay and deionized water is 1g: 10mL prepare mud liquid; The mass ratio of ammonium bromide is 2.5g: 1g, the mass ratio of dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide and sodium dodecylsulfonate is 4g: 1g) is configured into a solution, and is added dropwise under strong stirring Into the mud liquid, stirring at a constant temperature of 80°C for 2 hours. After the solution was cooled to room temperature, suction filtration was performed, and 0.1mol / L AgNO 3 The solution is titrated to the filtrate until there is no precipitation in the filtrate, and the compound modified organoclay is obtained by drying, which is ground and set aside. Mix 100 parts of natural rubber and 10 parts of compounded modified organic clay on a double-roll mill for 10-15 minutes, then add the following ingredients in three steps, the first step is to add 5 parts of zinc oxide, 2 parts of stearic acid The second step is to add accelerators: 0.5 part of dibenzothiazole disulfide (DM...

Embodiment 2

[0047] Change the mass ratio of dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide to sodium dodecylsulfonate to 4g:2g, and all the other operating steps are the same as in Example 1. The mechanical properties of organoclay and natural rubber nanocomposites prepared by this method are shown in Table 1.

Embodiment 3

[0049] Change the mass ratio of dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide to sodium dodecylsulfonate to 4g:3g, and all the other operating steps are the same as in Example 1. The mechanical properties of organoclay and natural rubber nanocomposites prepared by this method are shown in Table 1.

Abstract

The invention discloses a clay/rubber nano composite material prepared from compound modified clay. A preparation method comprises the following steps: adding a cationic modifying agent into inorganic clay, adding an anionic modifying agent after a period of time to prepare compound modified organic clay, and then mixing the compound modified organic clay with rubber and a compounding agent to obtain a rubber and clay nano composite material, wherein the cationic modifying agent is dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide, octadecy trimethyl ammonium bromide or cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide; the anionic modifying agent is sodium dodecyl sulfonate or sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate; and 10 parts by mass of organic clay is added into 100 parts by mass of the rubber. Results show that compared with a nano composite material which is prepared from the clay modified by a single cationic modifying agent, the clay/rubber nano composite material prepared from the compound modified clay, disclosed by the invention, has a better micro phase structure and comprehensive mechanical performance.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a new method for preparing clay and rubber nanocomposite materials, that is, compounding and modifying clay with anion modifier and cationic modifier to prepare rubber and clay nanocomposite materials. Background technique [0002] Clay is an abundant and cheap natural material that can be obtained without petroleum, and has long been used as a filler in the rubber industry. Such as kaolin, montmorillonite, red clay and clay and other series of fillers. The most commonly used of these is montmorillonite, also known as bentonite. [0003] The main component of montmorillonite is montmorillonite, the chemical formula is 4SiO 2 ·Al 2 o 3 ·H 2 O. The mineral montmorillonite belongs to the monoclinic system, which is a 2:1 layered silicate mineral composed of two layers of silicon-oxygen tetrahedrons and a layer of aluminum (magnesium) oxygen (hydroxyl) octahedral sheets sandwiched between them. The layers are interspersed wi...
