Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing a porous carbon material by direct carbonization of waste mineral water bottles and an electrochemical application thereof. The method comprises the following steps: putting a proper amount of mineral water bottle clippings into a tube furnace, heating in the nitrogen atmosphere at the heating rate of 3 DEG C min<-1>, and keeping constant at a high temperature (2M NaOH is used, in the technology, as an exhaust gas absorption liquid to absorb acid gas generated by high temperature carbonization of waste plastic); washing a black solid product obtained in the above step by the use of 1M-2M hydrochloric acid so as to remove inorganic ash; washing with deionized water to the neutral level, and drying to obtain the porous carbon material. According to the method, BET specific surface area reaches 716 m<2>g<-1>. When electric current density is 2 Gg<-1>, charge and discharge circulate for 5000 times, and capacitance retention rate is 91.67%. The technical researches on reutilization of wastes are effectively conducted. The method has good economic and social benefits as well as a wide application prospect.
