The novel fuel long-flame coal is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 20 to 60 parts of raw coal, 5 to 25 parts of anthracite coal, 1 to 10 parts of biomass particles and 20 to 40 parts of coal powder. The invention discloses a production method for producing the novel fuel; the production method comprises the following steps: preparing materials; mixing and stirring; crushing; extruding and molding. The invention further discloses production equipment for producing the novel fuel; the production equipment comprises a mixing stirrer, a first conveyor, a crusher, a second conveyor, a material storage machine, a third conveyor and a molding machine, which are connected in sequence. The height of combustion flame of the novel fuel long-flame coal is 30cm or more so that the novel fuel long-flame coal can completely meet hearths of all forms; the combustion time is prolonged for 4 to 6 hours and volatile matters of flame are prolonged for 30 percent or more; the temperature of the flame is improved by 300 DEG C to 400 DEG C and the novel fuel does not cause smoke after being combusted, so that effects of saving energy and reducing emission are realized.
