Abstract

The invention discloses a light halogen-free flame-retardant reinforced polyamide composition and a preparation method thereof. The polyamide composition comprises the components in parts by weight: 25-65 parts of polyamide resin, 5-15 parts of a flame retardant, 1-5 parts of a flame retardant synergist, 20-40 parts of alkali-free glass fiber, 5-27 parts of modified hollow inorganic powder and 1-10 parts of a compatibilizer, wherein the polyamide resin comprises polyamide 5X resin. The polyamide composition improves the mechanical property, the heat resistance, the flame retardance and the like of a composition material on the premise of reducing the density of the polyamide composite material. The components and the contents thereof play an inseparable role in density improvement of the light halogen-free flame-retardant reinforced polyamide and enhancement of mechanical property. The light halogen-free flame-retardant reinforced polyamide composition endows the polyamide composite material with novel performances and can be used in the fields of automobile instrument panels, building decoration, electronic and electrical apparatuses and the like.
