The method for preparing the supported Cu<2+> catalyst comprises the following steps: dissolving a Cu<2+> compound, and then adjusting the pH value of a salt solution to be 3 or below; adding a carrier into the solution, and fully stirring and reacting for 4-24 hours; adding a strong base solution into the mixed solution, slowly increasing the pH value to be 10, standing for 300 min, filtering and separating, washing to neutrality, and drying for later use. SO3<2-> is activated to generate SO4<--> by using the prepared catalyst to rapidly degrade the pollutants.
