Abstract

The method for detecting thenickel content in a nickel plate by using EDTAtitration comprises the following steps of treating a nickel plate sample with dilute nitric acid, drying by distillation at low temperature, adding diluted hydrochloric acid for dissolution, adding triethanolamine, ascorbic acid and sodium thiosulfate, and then rapidly adding ammonia water, adding an indicator, titrating to bright purple by using EDTA as an end point, and finally calculating the content of nickel in the nickel plate sample according to the amount of an EDTA standard titration solution. Precision and standard recovery experimentson the detection method show that the detection method is convenient to operate, high in analysis speed and accurate in result, and the stability and accuracy of the detection result meet related requirements. In addition, the detection method is reasonable in process, safe, reliable, easy and convenient to operate, low in cost, rapid, efficient and capable of meeting the requirement for on-site fast-paced production.
