The environment-friendly white latex comprises the following components in parts by weight: 550-750 parts of vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion; 150-250 parts of vinyl versatate copolymer emulsion; 150-250 parts of self-crosslinking acrylic resin; 5-15 parts of a pH regulator; 5-25 parts of butyl acrylate; 30-70 parts of diacetone acrylamide; 15-45 parts of N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide; 80-140 parts of polyvinyl formal; 90-260 parts of deionized water; and 3-6 parts of a defoaming agent.
