Abstract

The high-purity punicic acid producing process includes supercritical CO2 extraction of pomegranate seed as material at pressure 12-40 MPa and temperature 31.1-60 deg.c; separation at pressure 5-12 MPa and temperature 20-80deg.c to obtain pomegranate seed oil; hydrolyzing pomegranate seed oil to obtain mixed fatty acid; and separating the mixed fatty acid through uric acid inclusion process to obtain high-purity punicic acid. The present invention has the advantages of simple technological process, high purity of punicic acid and high yield.
