The present invention relates to a three-dimensional (3D) model display device and a 3D model display system in which even a beginner can easily edit a 3D model, and edit and watch a moving image using a 3D model while maintaining harmony of a model, a texture, and a motion. When a user clicks a selection button 508b of “trying-on”, performed is a preview display about how an avatar possessed by the user is displayed when the avatar wears a cloth, a hairstyle, an item, and an accessory desired to be tried on. A head size, a body portion size, and a bust portion size of the avatar possessed by the user are managed in a user management table. Display data related to the preview display displayed on the display screen 114 of the 3D model display device is dynamically generated by a 3D model display server based on the head size, the body portion size, and the bust portion size.

Self-Locating Sensor Mounting Apparatus

A self-locating mounting apparatus for holding objects such as sensors at specific positions on a subject's head includes a central mount constituted by a plurality of inextensible elements adapted to fit over the top of a subject's head. In addition, the mounting apparatus includes an adjustable circumferential band adapted to circle the subject's head and connect the central mount to inextensible side elements via sliding joints. A plurality of biasing elements provide a force for biasing sensor mounting units on the mounting apparatus against a subject's head, allowing for long-term sensing while minimizing interference forces on the mounting units. Advantageously, the mounting apparatus holds sensors within approximately 5 mm of their desired measurement positions over a range of subject head sizes.

Method and apparatus for detecting moving objects in video conferencing and other applications

An image processing system detects a moving person or other object of interest. The system generates a thresholded difference image by processing a video signal or other type of image signal received from a camera. The difference image is then segmented into regions bounded by vertical lines passing through the image, and silhouette candidates are identified in one or more of the regions. Tensor voting is used to determine saliency values and corresponding tangents for each of the silhouette candidates, and the resulting values and tangents are used to detect the object of interest. In an embodiment in which the object of interest is a moving person, a neck position of the moving person may be detected by analyzing a sum of x-components of tangents along a corresponding silhouette. The detected neck position may then be utilized to determine a head position and a head size for the moving person.

User interface for a system and method for head size equalization in 360 degree panoramic images

A User Interface (UI) for a real-time panoramic image correction system and method that simplifies the use of the system for the user. The UI includes a control panel that allows a user to enter meeting table size and shape, camera position and orientation, and the amount of normalization desired (e.g. 0 to 100%). A window can also be implemented on a display that displays the corrected panoramic image. In this window, the head (either normalized or non-normalized) of a meeting participant, preferably one that is speaking, is extracted and displayed in a separate window. Additionally, the corrected panoramic image, whose size will vary in conjunction with the amount of warping applied, can be displayed and transmitted with extra pixels around its perimeter in order to allow the corrected or normalized panoramic image to adapt to any of the standard display size and resolutions and to simplify network transmission. The corrected image can also be transmitted with standard resolutions using non-unity pixel aspect ratios to simply network transmission.

Public transport vehicle passenger flow statistical method and system

ActiveCN105512720AImprove statistical accuracyReduce the phenomenon that light mutations affect statistical resultsCounting objects with random distributionHead movementsHead size
The invention discloses a public transport vehicle passenger flow statistical method and system. Concretely, two cameras are respectively installed at the front and rear doors of a bus. The release lines of the front and rear doors of the bus and a fitting function of the camera height and the head size are determined before processing images acquired by the cameras. After a door opening signal is received, preprocessing, head detection, head tracking and head movement track analysis are performed on the images acquired by the cameras in turn, and finally passenger behaviors are analyzed according to head movement tracks, the number of bidirectional passenger flow of the corresponding doors is acquired and the number of bidirectional passenger flow of the whole bus is acquired through statistics of the number of bidirectional passenger flow of the front and rear doors of the bus. After a door closing signal is received, processing of the images acquired by the cameras is stopped, and the problem of influence on the statistical result caused by abrupt change of illumination generated by movement of the bus can be reduced. The method has advantages of high statistical accuracy so that reliable supporting can be provided for intelligent scheduling of the bus.

A clothing garment is formed in two loops or bands as unitary garment. A first of the two loops is an elongated member and the second is an elongated, non-rectangular member, having a wide central region. The two loops can be in the form of two pieces of fabric sewn or otherwise bonded together to form two joined loops. The loops can be elongated pieces of fabric formed into loops by a releasable closure member, such as a hook and loop connector. The connector can provide size adjustment to accommodate various head sizes. The loop with the wide central region is shorter than the essentially rectangular loop.

System and method for head size equalization in 360 degree panoramic images

A real-time approximately 360 degree image correction system and a method for alleviating distortion and perception problems in images captured by omni-directional cameras. In general, the real-time panoramic image correction method generates a warp table from pixel coordinates of a panoramic image and applies the warp table to the panoramic image to create a corrected panoramic image. The corrections are performed using a parametric class of warping functions that include Spatially Varying Uniform (SVU) scaling functions. The SVU scaling functions and scaling factors are used to perform vertical scaling and horizontal scaling on the panoramic image pixel coordinates. A horizontal distortion correction is performed using the SVU scaling functions at at least two different scaling factors. This processing generates a warp table that can be applied to the panoramic image to yield the corrected panoramic image. In one embodiment the warp table is concatenated with a stitching table used to create the panoramic image.

Visor

A visor assembly includes a visor portion for blocking sunlight, a front portion coupled to the visor portion, a first elastic band coupled to both sides of the front portion to encircle a head, and second elastic bands coupled to a portion of the first elastic band. The second elastic bands have elasticity different from that of the first elastic band. As the elasticity of the first elastic band is different from that of the second elastic bands, the bands exerts resultant elasticity that allows the band to stretch for various head sizes and the contracting force at the overlapping portions of the first and second elastic bands is enhanced, thereby improving the wearing comfort. Furthermore, the first elastic band may be enclosed by a cover in order to satisfy a variety of consumer desires.

Head Mount Apparatus For Hands-Free Video Recording With An Electronic Device

A head mount device is worn by a person to retain an electronic device in a desirable position for hand-free use as a video recorder. A head strap assembly with tri-glide adjustment mechanisms extends from the sides and top of the main body mounting plate, allowing the device to fit most head sizes. The mounting plate is preferably an injection-molded part for holding the electronic device in a horizontal position with an elastic retention strap securing mechanism between the mounting plate and the electronic device. An elastic strap extends from an upending portion of the mounting plate, wraps around the electronic device, extends through a slot in the mounting plate, and fastens back upon itself via hook and loop fasteners to capture the device in landscape orientation. The design of the mounting plate and preferred length of the retention strap fit most modern smartphone designs by simply tightening the retention strap around the smartphone.

Methods for attaching and wearing a neurostimulator

Methods for attaching a wearable neurostimulator to a user's head (or head and neck) using a cantilever electrode apparatuses for neuromodulation. In practice an electrode assembly may mate with the wearable neuromodulation devices so that the device is worn over one portion of the electrode assembly while the rest of the electrode assembly attaches to another portion of the body. The neuromodulator may be worn on a portion of the electrode assembly in a cantilevered manner (e.g., held at one end while the opposite end is free-floating), which allows the rigid neuromodulation device to conform to a variety of user head sizes and shapes.
