This application relates to a management method for a
power battery pack, belonging to the field of vehicle
manufacturing technology. The method includes: for each
cell in the
power battery pack to be tested, performing AC
internal resistance deviation diagnosis, capacity decay diagnosis, and
voltage change rate trajectory anomaly diagnosis on the
cell, obtaining the
cell's AC
internal resistance value,
internal resistance anomaly judgment value, cell capacity estimate, capacity anomaly judgment value, and
voltage cumulative anomaly judgment value, respectively. Based on the internal resistance anomaly judgment value, capacity anomaly judgment value, and
voltage cumulative anomaly judgment value, the cell is determined to be faulty; the number and location of faulty cells are counted; if the number of faulty cells is less than or equal to a preset maximum allowable short-circuit number, the faulty cells are short-circuited based on their location, and the
system parameters of the short-circuited
power battery pack are reconstructed; if the number of faulty cells is greater than the maximum allowable short-circuit number, the power
battery pack to be tested is replaced. Using this application can improve the accuracy of
faulty cell identification.
