Rider Controlled Zip Line Trolley Brake System

An improved zip line trolley allowing a rider control of his or her speed while traversing along a suspended cable. The trolley comprises front and back wheels conjoined via left and right trolley plates and a handle bar. Front and back hand brake levers are mounted onto the handle bar. When front and back hand brake levers are squeezed by the rider, they create a constricting force which applies friction to the suspended cable via brake pads. This frictional force slows the rider's speed to his or her desired rate and brings the rider to a safe stop at a precise location along the suspended cable. The rider is able to quickly and easily remove the trolley from the suspended cable and transport it to another.

Garment with elastic inserts produced using circular machines

The present invention relates to a garment with elastic inserts produced on circular machines of the type comprising elasticised sectors (3) and elasticised zones obtained by working in a further elastomeric yarn—in addition to the ground yarn and the reinforcing yarn normally used—and actually knitting the yarns so as to create machined portions, both horizontally and obliquely, which result in well-defined and demarcated zones which provide greater compression than the knitted stitches on the same row, thereby providing—within the elasticised sectors (3)—a greater compression value than outside the sector on the same row of knitted stitches. The elasticised sectors (3) are designed portions which create ornamental figures or banding with specific compression which can provide support, contribute to the stimulation of blood circulation, reduce fatigue, and render movement safer and more supported, when properly positioned and sized.

Roof membrane fastener, system, and fastening method

A roof sheet membrane system includes a roof sheet membrane with an adhesive bonding surface that is overlaid by a topside release sheet. The roof sheet membrane is secured to a roof substrate by a plurality of fastener assemblies. Each of the fastener assemblies includes a mechanical fastener passing through the topside release sheet and roof sheet membrane and into the roof substrate to secure the roof sheet membrane to the roof substrate and a disk through which the mechanical fastener passes. The disk contacts and overlays a portion of the topside release sheet immediately surrounding the mechanical fastener and causes the portion of the topside release sheet overlaid by the disk to be easily separable from a remainder of the topside release sheet when the topside release sheet is removed from the roof sheet membrane prior to adhering an overlying roofing layer to the roof sheet membrane.

Nail Pulling Device

A nail removing device comprises a handle portion connecting a claw portion distally disposed therein and a shank attachment shaft disposed on an opposite side of the claw portion. The shank attachment shaft fits in a standard pneumatic tool such as an air chisel or hammer is angled to provide vibratory and impact action to the claw portion. In use the claw portion is placed next to the nail to be removed and the air tool is activated. Pressure is applied generally parallel to the surface of the material holding the nail and the combination of the action of the air tool and the leverage provided by rotating the handle portion allows the user to easily and quickly remove the nail from the material with minimal effort. Other embodiments include hydraulic or mechanical impact source in place of a pneumatic one.

Robotic vehicle panel alignment system and process

A robotic system and process for automatically orienting / positioning a vehicle panel prior to its installation to a vehicle. The panel is first moved by the robot from a temporary storage position to an alignment fixture that acts to initially define the orientation / position of the panel in two directions. The robot subsequently contacts the panel such that the panel is pushed against a position stop that defines the position of the panel in a third direction. With the panel properly oriented / positioned, the robot removes the panel from the alignment fixture and transfers it to the vehicle for installation. Panels of dissimilar size and / or shape may be installed using the same system and process.
