anode electrode and a
microbial fuel cell and a starting method thereof. The
microbial fuel cell includes a
pool body, a
sewage pump, a catholyte pump and a catholyte tank. The
cell body includes an
anode cavity and a
cathode cavity and a cation exchange membrane. A three-dimensional
anode electrode including a three-dimensional layered base layer and several extension
layers is arranged in the anode chamber, and the base layer is arranged close to the cation exchange membrane.
Anode circuit lines are arranged between the extension
layers. A catholyte circulation is formed between the catholyte tank and the
cathode cavity. The
cathode cavity is provided with a
cathode electrode, and the
cathode electrode is selected from carbon rods or carbon brushes or includes at least two
metal meshes connected to each other through
titanium sheets, and
granular activated carbon is filled between the
metal meshes. In the start-up process,
anaerobic sludge is injected into the anode cavity to realize the
inoculation, cultivation, enrichment and
domestication of microorganisms in the base layer and extension layer, and realize
electricity production. The three-dimensional anode
electrode structure of the invention is beneficial to
electron collection and transmission, and has the advantages of good
electricity production effect, simple structure, convenient manufacture and the like.
