Problems solved by technology

However, due to the low water absorption of the general adhesive after curing, the addition of the adhesive reduces the permeability of the bentonite, and the formation of the bonded structure can also cause the bentonite to lose the original properties of the bentonite due to the separation of the bentonite. There is a large difference in the expansion ratio of water, which makes geotechnical materials (especially single-layer GCL) prone to cracking and poor hydrolysis resistance, which affects the overall anti-seepage performance of the material.

[0021] Weigh 8-11 grams of acrylamide, 85-96 grams of water, ammonium persulfate (initiator, the concentration is 3.0×10 -3 mol / L), sodium formate (chain transfer agent, the concentration is 8×10 -2 mol / L). First, add the weighed sodium formate and part of water into the reactor equipped with stirrer, condenser and thermometer, turn on the heater and stirrer at the same time, pour part of the acrylamide solution into the four-necked bottle, and put the remaining solution into Dropping funnel.

Abstract

Disclosed is a method of making adhesive for geosynthetics, which relates to the synthesis of modified polyacrylamide. The method comprises the steps: synthesizing polyacrylamide with low molecular weight, wherein the monomer is acrylamide and the initiator is ammonium persulphate and the chain transfer agent is sodium formate; hydroxymethylating the low- molecular- weight polyacrylamide with formaldehyde under alkaline condition; obtaining modified polyacrylamide through condensation reaction between hydroxymethylation polyacrylamide and acrylamide under alkaline condition; synthesizing gel under room temperature by rapidly crosslinking the modified polyacrylamide aqueous solution with crosslinking agent, initiator and accelerator; finally adding bentonite. The nontoxic modified polyacrylamide is provided with rapid crosslinking polymerization, less heat release during crosslinking polymerization, high gel strength and long service time, suitable for the preparation of geotechnical waterproof material when wrapped by bentonite.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for synthesizing synthetic materials, in particular to a method for synthesizing modified polyacrylamide used for synthesizing geotechnical waterproof materials. Background technique [0002] Geosynthetic Clay Liner (Geosynthetic Clay Liner, GCL for short) is a new type of geosynthetic material that appeared internationally in the mid-1990s. The anti-seepage performance of GCL is between compacted clay liner (CCL) and polymer material geomembrane, and it is gradually being recognized by the engineering field and applied in more and more engineering fields. Geosynthetic bentonite pad is a new type of composite anti-seepage material made by sealing bentonite between two layers of geosynthetics, through acupuncture, bonding or sewing, relying on the bentonite interlayer with montmorillonite as the main component Play anti-seepage effect. Among them, the adhesive GCL (single and double layer) is bonded with a thin layer ...
