Abstract

The invention discloses a cinnamomum zeylanicum extract and use thereof in an acaricide. The method for preparing the cinnamomum zeylanicum extract comprises the following steps: 1) crushing cinnamomum zeylanicum leaves to obtain crushed cinnamomum zeylanicum; and 2) extracting the cinnamomum zeylanicum extract by using an organic solvent in an amount of 3 to 10 times of the weight of crushed cinnamomum zeylanicum under conditions of reflux, an extraction temperature of 30 to 50 DEG C and extraction time of 6 to 12 hours, and filtering the solution to remove filter residue to obtain the cinnamomum zeylanicum extract.
