Abstract

The invention provides a method for preparing chromium hydroxide, potassium chloride and mixed nitrate from chromium slags, and the method comprises: reacting the chromium slags with hydrochloric acid to obtain a mixed chloride containing chromium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride and aluminum chloride, and carrying out suction filtering on the reaction mixture to obtain the mixed chloride and a silica-containing filter cake; adding excess industrial water to the mixed chloride, thus hydrolyzing chromium chloride to generate and precipitate trivalent chromium hydroxide, and then carrying out suction filtering to obtain a clear calcium, magnesium and aluminum mixed chloride and a chromium hydroxide filter cake; washing the chromium hydroxide filter cake, drying and pulverizing to obtain a chromium hydroxide product; and reacting the calcium, magnesium and aluminum mixed chloride with a potassium nitrate solution, filtering the reaction mixture, distilling the filtrate while decompressing, discharging a distillation solution for cooling when the distillation solution is saturated, sequentially crystallizing, classifying and precipitating aluminum nitrate crystals, magnesium nitrate crystals, calcium nitrate crystals and potassium chloride crystals according to the solubility difference of different substances, and then rectifying to obtain an aluminum nitrate product, a magnesium nitrate product, a calcium nitrate product and a potassium chloride product.
