The EPDM-based conductive rubber comprises the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 15-20 percent of EPDM rubber, 0.005-1 percent of titanate coupling agent, 0.6-1.2 percent of vulcanizing agent, 4-6 percent of active agent, and 71.8-80.4 percent of conductive powder. The preparation method comprises the steps of drying conductive powder body, performing polarity matching for the conductive powder body particle size, coating and mixing the conductive powder body. The EPDM-based conductive rubber provided by the invention has the advantages of excellent oxidation resistance, ozone and corrosion resistance, good conductive performance, stable resistance time property, controllable resistance temperature coefficient, higher temperature limit and the like.
