When the plant growth regulation composition is used, the quantity of precipitates generated by the plant growth regulation composition in the same solvent or diluent due to the difference of solubility of the paclobutrazol and solubility of the mepiquat chloride can be reduced, so that the dispersibility of effective constituents, namely the paclobutrazol and the mepiquat chloride in the same solvent or diluent is improved, and the problems of low suspension rate, more sediments and the like of conventional powder are solved, and simultaneously lots of harmful solvents are prevented from being used in microemulsion and missible oil; and the plant growth regulation composition is safe and environment-friendly.
