Abstract

The invention discloses a method for producing organic solvents and hydrogen jointly from traditional Chinese medicine residues. The method comprises the following steps: hydrolyzing ten-ingredient tonic semifluid extract residues with diluted acid to prepare a hydrolyzed liquid glucose, and then directly applying the hydrolyzed sugar solution to anaerobic fermentation for producing clostridium butanol to produce biological butanol, acetone, ethyl alcohol and hydrogen jointly. According to the method, a traditional Chinese medicine residue hydrolysate which is not subjected to detoxification treatment can be directly used for fermenting raw materials; and meanwhile, when the traditional Chinese medicine residue hydrolysate is used to prepare a fermentation medium, only water, ammonium acetate and ferrous sulfate need to be added while other substances are not added, and then fermentation is performed to produce butanol, acetone, ethyl alcohol and hydrogen, wherein the total solvent yield can reach 23g / L, the total butanol yield can reach 16g / L, the total solvent to glucose yield can reach 0.40g / L, and the hydrogen yield is up to 6,100mL / L. On the one hand, the method helps to solve the problem of environmental pollution caused by accumulation of traditional Chinese medicine residues and increase the resource utilization level of traditional Chinese medicines; and on the other hand, butanol, acetone, ethyl alcohol and the like, which are organic solvents commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine production, are produced, and hydrogen can be jointly produced as an energy.
