Problems solved by technology

At present, inorganic, sorbitol, phosphate, rosin and synthetic polymer nucleating agents are widely used in industry. These nucleating agents are generally obtained through a series of chemical reactions, and the cost is relatively high. Moreover, some nucleating agents are highly toxic, which limits the application of the final product in the fields of medicine and tissue engineering.
However, there are few reports on the use of environmentally friendly and cheap and easy-to-obtain powdery natural protein materials as nucleating agents.

Embodiment 1-4

[0018] Melt and blend 50g of polybutylene succinate (PBS) and different amounts of wool powder in an internal mixer at 150°C for 10 minutes, then cool to obtain the product. The specific quality ratios of polybutylene succinate and wool powder are shown in Table 1. The obtained product was tested by the corresponding DSC program, and the results are shown in Table 2.

[0019] Test method: the present invention uses a Mettler-Toledo DSC822e differential scanning calorimeter to test the sample, and reflects the crystallization condition of the sample through the maximum crystallization temperature and exothermic enthalpy.

[0020] The maximum crystallization temperature refers to the peak temperature corresponding to the exothermic peak during the sample cooling process, and the higher the maximum crystallization temperature, the faster the crystallization rate.

[0021] The exothermic enthalpy refers to the enthalpy value released by the sample due to crystallization during th...

Embodiment 5-8

[0026] Melt and blend 50g of polybutylene succinate (PBS) with 0.5g of cow hair powder, feather powder, pig hair powder or silk powder in an internal mixer at 150°C for 10 minutes, then cool to obtain the product. The mass ratio of raw materials is shown in Table 1. The resulting product was tested using the DSC program, and the results are shown in Table 2.

Embodiment 9

[0028] Melt and blend 50g of polylactic acid (PLA) and 0.5g of wool powder in an internal mixer at 200°C for 10 minutes, then cool to obtain the product. The resulting product was tested using the DSC program, and the results are shown in Table 2.

Abstract

The invention discloses application of natural protein powder used as an aliphatic polyester nucleating agent. Particularly, natural protein powder and aliphatic polyester are mixed to be uniform according to the mass ratio of 0.25-2:100 through a solution mixing or melt blending mode. The natural protein powder comprises one or the mixture of two or more of wool powder, cow hair powder, feather meal, pig hair powder and silk powder in any proportion. The aliphatic polyester comprises one or the mixture of two or more of poly (butylene succinate), polycaprolactone and polylactic acid in any proportion. The natural protein powder raw material is wide in source, low in cost, easy to obtain, free of pollution and environmentally friendly. When the natural protein powder used as the aliphatic polyester nucleating agent, the crystallization temperature and degree of the aliphatic polyester can be effectively improved by adding a small amount of the natural protein powder, and the nucleating effect is remarkable.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of polymer additives, and in particular relates to the application of natural protein powder, that is, the powdery natural protein material is used as a nucleating agent for aliphatic polyester. Background technique [0002] Wool, cow hair, pig hair, down and silk are condensation polymers of amino acids, which belong to natural protein fibers and are one of the important raw materials in the textile field. However, due to the limitation of spinning technology, a large amount of waste fibers are produced. These discarded fibers are generally used as feed through simple treatment or processed by fermentation and other methods, which not only leads to a huge waste of high-quality resources, but also causes great environmental pollution. Powdering these natural protein fibers is one of the effective ways to regenerate them, and the resulting powder material is a new type of functional material, so it is of gre...
