Abstract

The invention discloses a method for asexually breeding seedlings of Sargassum polycystum and belongs to the technical field of algal tissue culture. The method comprises: cleaning and temporarily cultivating collected wild Sargassum polycystum, sterilizing complete tender side shoots with sodium hypochlorite, using stems or leaves of the side shoots as explants to induce adventitious buds, culturing the adventitious buds to form regenerated leaves, using the regenerated leaves as explants to form massive adventitious buds by successive multi-generation induction, and subjecting the adventitious buds to in-vitro culture to induce rhizoid, forming complete regenerated seedlings for artificial cultivation.
