The nano water-based formaldehyde-sealing coating is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 2.0 to 10.0 percent of nano-crystalline cellulose, 0.5 to 3.0 percent of ultrafine micro wax powder and the balance of water-based epoxy resin, a water-based dispersing agent, a functional adjuvant, deionized water and a water-based epoxy curing agent. The nano water-based formaldehyde-sealing coating is excellent in tightness, adhesiveness and wear resistance; when the surface of furniture is coated with the nano water-based formaldehyde-sealing coating, a layer of protective sealing film can be formed on the surface of a furniture coating layer; the protective sealing film can firstly seal formaldehyde and prevent formaldehyde gas in furniture plates and coating layers from being volatilized; the preparation method is mild in condition, simple in process and more environmentally-friendly.
