Abstract

The invention discloses a dissipative soliton mode-locked fiber laser employing an optical fiber integrated device, and the optical fiber integrated device comprises two double-fiber collimators whichare arranged in an aligned manner, and an isolator and a filter which are disposed between the two double-fiber collimators. A resonant cavity of the mode-locked fiber laser comprises the optical fiber integrated device and a gain optical fiber, and a resonant cavity optical fiber is provided with a polarization controller in a clamping manner. A structure which consists of the polarization related optical fiber integrated device and the polarization controller can enable the laser to employ the nonlinear polarization rotating mode locking technology. The net dispersion in the resonant cavityof the optical fiber laser is positive, and the optical fiber integrated device can provide a filtering effect, and forms a support dissipative soliton in the mode-locked fiber laser. The structuraldesign of the mode-locked fiber laser is greatly simplified through the optical fiber laser, the packaging and miniaturization of the laser are facilitated, and the implementation of a high-repetition-frequency optical fiber laser is facilitated.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of fiber laser technology, in particular to a dissipative soliton mode-locked fiber laser using an optical fiber integrated device. Background technique [0002] Ultrashort optical pulses are widely used in ultrafast optical diagnosis, optical precision measurement, precision machining, laser medicine and bioengineering, and are also frontier topics in nonlinear optics and ultrafast optics. Mode-locked fiber laser is one of the hot research directions of ultrashort pulse generation at present. Compared with traditional solid-state laser, it has the advantages of small size, light weight, compact structure and high reliability. In order to form a complete fiber laser oscillator, wavelength division multiplexers, couplers, isolators, and mode-locking devices are usually used to realize functions such as pumping, output, unidirectional operation, starting and maintaining mode-locked pulses. Although the currently used o...
