The building adhesive is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: isopropyl acetate, urea formaldehyde resin, stearyl amine, starch, alpha-cellulose powder, chloroprene rubber,phenol, a crosslinking agent, a dispersing agent, a wetting agent, a thickening agent and proper amount of deionized water. The building adhesive prepared by the invention has the advantages of high bonding strength and chemical-corrosion resistance and the like; due to equal-mass mixing and synergistic action of paraffin and calcium stearate, all the raw materials can be uniformly dispersed in solution, so that the uniformity of the mass of the adhesive is ensured; due to mixing of the urea formaldehyde resin, aluminium sulfate and aluminium phosphate, the water resistance of the urea formaldehyde resin can be improved, and due to the action of the starch and the alpha-cellulose powder, the shrinkage rate of the urea formaldehyde resin can be reduced; in addition, due to equal-mass addition and mixing of xanthan gum and guar gum, the synergistic action can be largest, so that the salt resistance, the acid-alkaline resistance and the bonding strength of the adhesive can be enhanced.
