Abstract

The invention discloses a solid acid catalyst for synthesizing 2-morpholinoethanol. The solid acid catalyst takes roasted spherical gamma-Al2O3 as a carrier, and active ingredients, namely, SO4<2-> and CoFe2O4 are loaded on the carrier. The invention also provides a method for synthesizing the 2-morpholinoethanol by utilizing the solid acid catalyst. The method comprises the following steps: placing the solid acid catalyst in a fixed bed reactor; pumping triethanolamine serving as a raw material into a vapourizing chamber for vapourizing through a sampling pump; regulating the flow speed of the sampling pump to make the air speed per volume be 0.1 to 0.5 hour <-1>; enabling the vapourized triethanolamine into the fixed bed reactor for reacting; regulating nitrogen pressure to make the reaction pressure be 1 to 2 atm, wherein the reaction temperature is 250 to 320 DEG C.
