Problems solved by technology

However, in these methods, it is difficult to control the number or position of substituents introduced into pigments whose structures are difficult to introduce sulfonic acid groups, aminomethyl groups, phthalimide methyl groups, etc.
As a result, the dispersion of the pigment becomes insufficient, and a large amount of by-products that adversely affect the color tone are generated, and there are defects such as unstable quality of the pigment dispersion liquid.
[0008] In addition, the pigment composition using Pigment 254, which is currently widely used as a red pigment for color filters, still has the problem of improving the transmittance

Embodiment 1

[0099] Example 1 (synthesis of the compound represented by No.1 of the specific example)

[0100] After dissolving 30.0 parts of C.I.Acid Red 52 in 300 parts of water in a reaction vessel, add 5.7 parts of calcium chloride to the solution at 20 to 30°C, and stir at the same temperature for one hour. After filtering the precipitated crystals, the obtained wet cake was dried in a hot air dryer at 80° C. to obtain 23.6 parts of the compound represented by No. 1 above. The maximum absorption wavelength λmax of this compound is 565 nm (aqueous solution).

Embodiment 2

[0101] Example 2 (synthesis of the compound represented by No. 2 of the specific example)

[0102] An aqueous solution obtained by dissolving 30.0 parts of C.I.Acid Red 52 in 300 parts of water in a reaction vessel, and then dissolving 23 parts of 18-amino-8,11,13-arbietatriene in 100 parts of 3.3% acetic acid aqueous solution Spend 30 minutes at 20 to 25° C. into the solution, and stir at the same temperature for one hour. After filtering the precipitated crystals, the obtained wet cake was dried in a hot air drier at 80° C. to obtain 32.0 parts of the compound represented by No. 2 above. The maximum absorption wavelength λmax of this compound is 565 nm (aqueous solution).

Synthetic example 1

[0103] Synthesis Example 1 (Preparation of Binder Resin A)

[0104] Put 160 parts of methyl ethyl ketone, 10 parts of methacrylic acid, 33 parts of benzyl methacrylate, and 1 part of α,α'-azobis(isobutyronitrile) into a 500 mL four-necked flask, and make nitrogen gas while stirring. Flow into the flask for 30 minutes. Then the temperature was raised to 80° C. and maintained at 80 to 85° C. with stirring for 4 hours. After completion of the reaction, it was cooled to room temperature to obtain a colorless, transparent and uniform binder resin solution. The binder resin solution was precipitated in a mixed solution of isopropanol and water at a ratio of 1:1, filtered, and the solid was taken out and dried to obtain binder resin A. The obtained binder resin A had a polystyrene-equivalent weight average molecular weight of 18,000 and an acid value of 152.

Abstract

The present invention relates to an xanthene compound and a pigment composition containing the xanthene compound. Provided is a pigment composition (pigment dispersion liquid) containing an organic pigment, capable of micronizing and increasing the concentration of the organic pigment without causing aggregation, sedimentation, and viscosity increase over time, and a stable composition (dispersionliquid) as a photoresist for a color filter or a colorant for an inkjet ink. The xanthene compound of the present invention has a structure represented by the following formula (1). In the formula (1), R1 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R2 and R3 each represent a hydrogen atom, alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a halogen atom, -CO2M group or -SO3M group; but at least one of R3 is -CO2M group or -SO3M group; M represents an alkaline earth metal atom or rosin ammonium (8, 11, 13-arabietatriene-18-ammonium); and n represents an integer from 1 to 4.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a dibenzopyran compound (including its salt) suitable for use as a photoresist for a color filter or a component of an inkjet ink used in the manufacture of a liquid crystal display or a photosensitive element, and a fluid containing the compound A pigment composition with excellent properties and transparency. Background technique [0002] Pigments can be used as paints or printing inks, and in recent years are also used as colorants for color filter resists or inkjet inks. Due to various properties such as heat resistance, weather resistance, and migration resistance, pigments are more excellent than dyes in terms of fastness. On the other hand, pigments also have potential defects such as aggregation, sedimentation when formed into a composition, increase in viscosity over time, and color separation when mixed with different kinds of pigments. [0003] In addition, in order to achieve high contrast in liquid crysta...
