The halogen-free flame-retardant high polymer material comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of a high polymer material master batch, 110-180 parts of a first flame retardant and optionally a second flame retardant, wherein the first flame retardant comprises a basalt material or a mixture of the basalt material and hydroxide, and the second flame retardant comprises not more than 30 parts by weight of ammonium polyphosphate, not more than 15 parts by weight of melamine, not more than 10 parts by weight of expandable graphite and not more than 10 parts by weight of molybdenum trioxide.
