A method for synthesizing a VTA-Cr(VI)-IIPs adsorbent by using a quaternary ammonium salt as a monomer relates to a method for synthesizing a Cr(VI)-IIPs adsorbent. The present invention aims to solve the technical problem that the existing ion-imprinted polymer has poor adsorption selectivity for hexavalent chromium anions. The functional monomer benzyl ethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (VTA) used in the method of the present invention carries a positive charge, which can quickly attract hexavalent chromium anion groups, and at the same time, it has a matching cavity stably conforming to the hexavalent chromium anion groups, which can be combined with hexavalent chromium anion groups.
