The preparation method comprises the following steps of (1) synthesizing an intermediate 4-hydroxyazopyridine; (2) synthesizing an azopyridine derivative; (3) synthesizing a bromine bond azopyridine derivative based on the azopyridine derivative; and (4) preparing the bromine bond azopyridine / quantum dot composite luminescent fiber. Through interaction of hydrogen bonds and bromine bonds, a quantum dot (QDs) material is connected with the bromine bond azopyridine derivative, and the organic-inorganic composite luminescent fiber is prepared.
