The preparation method of the mixed acid conditioner comprises the following steps: washing and drying the red mud, performing ball-milling and crushing, and sieving the material; adding strong acid, heating the material in a water bath, adding an oxidizing agent, adjusting the pH, and curing the material for later use. After the mixed acid conditioner is matched with the fly ash for pretreatment and conditioning, the final moisture content of the dewatered sludge can be ensured to be lower than 50% through a belt filter press, and the outward transportation requirement is met.
