Abstract

The invention relates to a negative liquid crystal composition containing a dibenzofuran compound and application of the negative liquid crystal composition, and belongs to the field of liquid crystal materials. The negative liquid crystal composition comprises at least one compound with a dibenzofuran structure, the structure of the compound being shown as a general formula I shown in the specification, at least one compound as shown in a general formula II shown in the specification, at least one compound as shown in a general formula III shown in the specification and at least one compound as shown in a general formula IV shown in the specification. The adopted compounds have stable chemical and physical properties, good low-temperature intersolubility, and moderate dielectric anisotropy and the refractive index anisotropy, and can be widely applied. The negative liquid crystal composition is good in low-temperature intersolubility and large in elastic constant, and the response time, especially the low-temperature response time, can be shortened.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a negative liquid crystal composition and its application, in particular to a dielectric negative liquid crystal composition containing a dibenzofuran structure compound and its application, and belongs to the field of liquid crystal materials. Background technique [0002] Liquid crystal display devices are used in various home appliances including clocks and calculators, measuring equipment, automotive panels, word processors, electronic notebooks, printers, computers, and televisions. As liquid crystal display methods, the representative methods are TN (twisted nematic) type, STN (super twisted nematic) type, DS (dynamic light scattering) type, GH (guest-host) type, IPS (in-plane switching) type, OCB (Optically Compensated Birefringence) type, ECB (Voltage Controlled Birefringence) type, VA (Vertical Alignment) type, CSH (Color Super Vertical) type, or FLC (Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal) or the like. Also, examples of drivin...
