The invention relates to a
system and method for a user to initiate a cold feeling experience in a
shower event, and specifically provides a
shower system for providing water to a user from at least one
shower head. The showering
system includes a showering
control system having a
user interface. The shower
control system is configured to: provide water to a user at a temperature set by the user during a shower event; in the same
bathing event, a cold feeling experience is provided to the user when the user triggers a cold feeling experience indicator predetermined by the
user interface. The cold feeling experience comprises a transition phase during which the shower
control system is arranged to lower the temperature of the water to a predefined cold feeling temperature that is lower than a
normal range of user preferred temperatures for showering, the temperature of which is lower than the
normal range of the user preferred temperatures for showering when no hot water is supplied, and the temperature of which is lower than the
normal range of user preferred temperatures for showering when no hot water is supplied. The predefined cold-sensitive temperature is a predetermined temperature or a natural temperature of water; and a chill phase during which the shower control system is arranged to provide water at a predefined chill temperature for a predetermined time.
