Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) settings of gas mixture and pressure are established based on
electroencephalography (EEG) readings from a human within a hyperbaric chamber. Specifically, brainwave readings are affected by the HBOT process, which are used to improve the medical benefits achieved through the HBOT therapy regime, especially for treatments of cognitive disorders and neurological conditions detectable via EEG. In embodiments, HBOT settings are altered until a treated human is placed in a healing state, where
cognition is enhanced. This healing state is quantitively definable through analysis of Alpha, Beta,
Delta, and Theta EEG readings taken while in chamber and while outside the chamber. Once settings are determined to achieve a healing state of positive
cognition, HBOT sessions can be conducted at pressure and gas mixture settings to ensure the healing state is achieved for each session.
Post treatment analysis can be performed to determine EEG quantifiable improvements achieved.
