Device And Method For Neuromodulation Treatment

The present disclosure provides a device and a method for neuromodulation treatment. The neuromodulation device comprises a pulse generator to generate electrical pulses and at least one active electrode coupled to the pulse generator. The at least one active electrode has an electrically conductive surface configured to be attached to a leg of a patient. The at least one active electrode stimulates via the electrically conductive surface a nerve of the leg of the patient by the electrical pulses generated by the pulse generator. A control unit controls the pulse generator and sets at least one parameter of the generated electrical pulses. A response detector detects a response of the patient to the nerve stimulation and provides feedback on the detected response to the control unit. For the treatment the control unit determines a treatment setting by varying an initial setting of the at least one parameter of the generated electrical pulses until the detected response of the patient to the nerve stimulation is within a predetermined range.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) calibrations based on in-chamber brainwave metrics

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) settings of gas mixture and pressure are established based on electroencephalography (EEG) readings from a human within a hyperbaric chamber. Specifically, brainwave readings are affected by the HBOT process, which are used to improve the medical benefits achieved through the HBOT therapy regime, especially for treatments of cognitive disorders and neurological conditions detectable via EEG. In embodiments, HBOT settings are altered until a treated human is placed in a healing state, where cognition is enhanced. This healing state is quantitively definable through analysis of Alpha, Beta, Delta, and Theta EEG readings taken while in chamber and while outside the chamber. Once settings are determined to achieve a healing state of positive cognition, HBOT sessions can be conducted at pressure and gas mixture settings to ensure the healing state is achieved for each session. Post treatment analysis can be performed to determine EEG quantifiable improvements achieved.

Automatic device configuration

Techniques for automatic device configuration are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the techniques involve receiving patient data by one or more processors of a cloud-based server device. The techniques further involve obtaining, by the cloud-based server device, and based on the patient data, a value of a total daily dose of insulin for the specific patient. The techniques further involve automatically selecting, by the cloud-based server device, before the medical device has been set up to deliver insulin to the specific patient, a therapy configuration for the medical device. The techniques further involve determining, by the cloud-based server device, a set of therapy settings for the selected therapy configuration for the specific patient based upon the value of the total daily dose. The techniques further involve automatically configuring, via a non-medical device, the medical device with the set of therapy settings in a startup mode.

Method for relieving invasive memory of mental disorder patient

The invention discloses a method for relieving invasive memory of a mental disorder patient, and relates to the technical field of mental health. The invention discloses a method for relieving invasive memory of a mental disorder patient. The method comprises the following steps of patient inquiry and baseline evaluation, graph selection, individualized masking threshold determination, unconscious activation and cognitive intervention, dynamic adjustment, rotation and repetition, treatment setting and evaluation. According to the method, the wound memory network is automatically activated on the subconsciousness level by presenting the wound masking picture which cannot be consciously perceived by the patient, so that the key step that the patient must actively recall the wound image in a painful manner in the prior art is thoroughly replaced, and a cognitive task (Tetris) is linked to obtain a cognitive result. And the interference on the unconsciously activated memory traces is realized. In the whole treatment process, the patient does not need to consciously face wounds, secondary psychological injury is fundamentally avoided, the safety and compliance of treatment are remarkably improved, and the problem of high exit rate caused by pain in the process of a traditional therapy is expected to be solved.
