Beach wrap

The invention is directed to a beach wrap or body covering garment that is easily wrapped and fixed about the body of a wearer so that the wearer can easily change clothes in a public place without being seen. The beach wrap comprises an elongated fabric piece having an exterior layer formed of a flexible water absorbing material and an interior layer formed of a water impervious material. The beach wrap is fixed about the body of the wearer by attaching together first and second attachment elements. The beach wrap has a pair of elongated slits spaced opposite each other and formed in the exterior layer of the fabric piece, wherein the elongated slits each form an elongated opening through the exterior layer and through the interior layer of the fabric to allow the wearer to conveniently insert and withdraw the wearer's arms when the body covering garment is fixed about the body of the wearer. Each slit has slit closure means. The beach wrap may further comprise at least one pouch formed of a water impervious material attached to the interior layer.

Hooded changing garment

The changing garment protects the privacy of a wearer while removing or donning attire. The garment provides privacy by covering the wearer's body from view while the wearer changes his or her clothes underneath the garment. The garment includes a torso-covering portion, a lower portion covering the portion of the body not covered by the torso-covering portion, two sleeves attached to openings at the sides of the upper portion of the torso-covering portion. The sleeve openings at the torso are sufficiently large enough so that a person wearing the garment may retract their arms into the interior of the torso-covering portion. The sleeves are sufficiently long so that when a wearer's arms are pulled into the interior of the garment, the sleeves cover the sleeve openings so that the wearer's body is not visible to a prospective observer outside of the garment.

The overlapping arrangement of the front and rear panels allows the user to pull on or remove the swimsuit, wetsuit or dry street clothing in a single motion, while remaining covered at all times. In a preferred embodiment the garment is made of a single material, such as a terry fabric similar to a beach towel.
