Embodiment

[0168] Hereinafter, although an Example demonstrates this invention concretely, this invention is not limited to these Examples. However, the parts and % in each example are based on weight. Evaluation items in Examples and the like were measured as follows.

[0169]

[0170] The weight average molecular weight of the obtained (meth)acrylic polymer was measured by GPC (gel permeation chromatography). As the sample, a sample was dissolved in dimethylformamide to obtain a 0.1% by weight solution, which was allowed to stand overnight, and then filtered through a 0.45 μm membrane filter.

manufacture example 1

[0182]

[0183] Put 99.7 parts of butyl acrylate, 0.1 part of N,N-dimethylaminoethyl acrylate, 0.1 part of acrylic acid, and 4-hydroxybutyl acrylate into a four-necked flask equipped with a stirring paddle, a thermometer, a nitrogen gas introduction tube, and a cooler. 0.1 part of ester, 0.1 part of 2,2'-azobisisobutyronitrile as a polymerization initiator, and 200 parts of ethyl acetate were slowly stirred while nitrogen gas was introduced, and after nitrogen substitution, the liquid temperature in the flask was maintained to The polymerization reaction was carried out at around 60° C. for 6 hours to prepare an acrylic polymer solution. The weight average molecular weight of the acrylic polymer is 2.05 million.

manufacture example 2~14、 and comparative manufacture example 1~7

[0185] In Production Example 1, an acrylic polymer solution was prepared in the same manner as in Production Example 1, except that at least one of the type and usage-amount of monomer components was changed as shown in Table 2. However, in Production Example 14, toluene was used as a solvent instead of ethyl acetate. Table 2 shows the weight average molecular weight of the acrylic polymer obtained in each example.

Abstract

A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition can form an pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that has satisfactory reworkability such that optical films can be easily peeled from liquid crystal panels with no adhesive residue and also has satisfactory processability such that it can be worked without pressure-sensitive adhesive fouling or dropout. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for an optical film of the present invention comprises 100 parts by weight of a (meth)acrylic polymer comprising 45 to 99.99% by weight of an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer unit and 0.01 to 2% by weight of a tertiary amino group-containing monomer unit; and 0.01 to 2 parts by weight of a peroxide as a crosslinking agent.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an adhesive composition for an optical film requiring transparency, an adhesive layer for an optical film formed from the adhesive composition, and a method for producing the same. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive optical film in which the above-mentioned pressure-sensitive adhesive layer for an optical film is formed on at least one surface of the optical film. Furthermore, the present invention relates to image display devices such as liquid crystal display devices and organic EL display devices using the pressure-sensitive adhesive optical film. As the above-mentioned optical film, a polarizing plate, a retardation film, an optical compensation film, a brightness improving film, and further, a member in which these are laminated can be used. Background technique [0002] In terms of liquid crystal displays, etc., it is necessary and indispensable to arrange polarizing eleme...
