Abstract

The invention relates to a method for extracting gossypol acetic acid from cottonseed meal in the presence of a solid acid catalyst which is ZrSO4 / HMS solid acid. The ZrSO4 / HMS solid acid catalyst with a loading capacity of 10 to 70 mass percent is prepared by first preparing a hexagonal mesoporous silica (HMS) by using laurylamine as a template agent and then loading ZrSO4 on the HMS molecular sieve. The method comprises: immersing a coarse cottonseed meal sample in acetone aqueous solution serving as a solvent for extraction; and adding 5-percent glacial acetic acid in a volume which is 1 to 3 times that of the obtained solution and ZrSO4 / HMS solid catalyst in an amount which is 1 to 10 percent based on the mass of the solution into the obtained solution, reacting, filtering, crystallizing and purifying to obtain gossypol acetate. The method provided by the invention achieves high gossypol acetate extraction rate and purity and makes technical process simple, and therefore is convenient for industrial production.
