Abstract

The invention discloses a methyl esterification recycling method of alkali decrement wastewater solid residue. The method includes the steps of: (1) collecting alkali decrement solid residue collected by a wastewater treatment unit, conducting washing and drying treatment, then blending the solid residue with methanol and an esterification catalyst in proportion to obtain a blended slurry; (2) carrying out two esterification reaction in order to obtain a liquid phase and a gas phase, subjecting the gas phase to methanol removal and dehydration treatment, and subjecting the liquid phase to two-stage decompression rectification in order so as to obtain a crude benzenedicarboxylic acid dimethyl ester product; (3) conducting melt crystallization on the crude benzenedicarboxylic acid dimethyl ester product to obtain a high purity dimethyl terephthalate product; and (4) sending the rectification residual liquid to burning, recovering the ash and retuning the ash to (1) to serve as an esterification catalyst.
