Abstract

The invention discloses a management method for prolonging flowering period of sweet osmanthus in a severe environment. The management is carried out from 2 months before start of the flowering period to one week after the flowering period finished, wherein an amino acid foliar fertilizer is sprayed on the sweet osmanthus and an organic fertilizer is used for root irrigation. Compared with the prior art, the method achieves nutrition supplement during the flowering period of the sweet osmanthus, and a problem of low blossom quantity caused by influence of harmful substances due to pollution is avoided. Meanwhile, the amino acid foliar fertilizer can increase hydrophilic colloid in plant cells, thereby improving absorption and storage of nutrients and retaining sufficient carotene and anthocyanin. The management method can prolong the flowering period and improve the resistance of the sweet osmanthus in the severe environment.
