Abstract

The APD single photon detector circuit comprises a DC bias voltage unit, a gated pulse generator and an avalanche photon diode (APD), wherein the DC bias voltage unit is connected with a cathode of the APD through a first resistor R1; the gated pulse generator is connected with the cathode of the APD through a first capacitor C; an anode of the APD is grounded through a second resistor R2; and the anode of the APD is further sequentially connected with a high-speed zero-crossing comparator and a level measurement and comparison circuit, and the level measurement and comparison circuit comprises a detection module, a judgment module and a signal generation module. The APD single photon detector circuit is simple in circuit structure, does not need to perform separation on pulses, facilitates to reduce the implementation cost and improves the detection speed and efficiency.
