Problems solved by technology

[0004] In summary, the main problems in the prior art are: 1. The corrosion resistance of magnesium matrix materials is poor, and the mechanical properties are lost due to corrosion before the bone is not healed; 2. Magnesium alloys formed after magnesium and other metals are alloyed The corrosion resistance of the material has been greatly improved compared with pure magnesium materials, but as a bioimplantable material, its biocompatibility performance is not ideal

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of metal material surface engineering and in particular relates to a solution formula for preparing a tantalum-containing coating on surfaces of magnesium and a magnesium alloy by micro-arc oxidation and a process. The invention discloses a solution formula which comprises sodium silicate, trisodium phosphate, sodium hydroxide, tantalum ethoxide and water. Tantalum ethoxide in the formula can be replaced by tantalum oxalate and water is a solvent. The invention also discloses a preparation process of the coating. The preparation process comprises the following steps of: grinding a specimen with abrasive paper, cleaning the specimen with cold water, performing deoiling with acetone and performing ethanol ultrasonic washing; then preparing a solution; then connecting the specimen with an anode of micro-arc oxidation equipment, wherein a stainless steel sheet is taken as a cathode; putting the cathode and the anode in the prepared solution; drying and stirring the solution; starting the micro-arc oxidation equipment; shutting down the micro-arc oxidation equipment after the coating is prepared; and unloading, cleaning and drying the specimen. The coating is good in binding force and uniform in tissue, and the corrosion resistance of magnesium and the magnesium alloy can be improved and the biocompatibility of the coating can be also improved. Equipment needed for preparing the coating is simple, and the process is stable and reliable and easy to implement.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of metal material surface engineering, and in particular relates to a solution formulation and a process for preparing a tantalum-containing coating on the surface of magnesium and magnesium alloys by micro-arc oxidation. Background technique [0002] Traditional biomaterials, mainly stainless steel and titanium alloys, have played a great role in the development of modern orthopedic internal fixation implant materials. However, the traditional orthopedic implant materials produce stress shielding after implantation in the body, which hinders fracture healing; secondary surgery is required to remove the fracture after healing; and the material is prone to refracture after removal, prompting people to look for possible alternatives. Magnesium-based biomaterials have become a research hotspot due to their good metal properties, mechanical properties and degradability (body absorption, no need for secondary sur...
