Abstract

The invention discloses a high-toughness epoxy powder coating, which is prepared from the following components (by weight): 50-80% of bisphenol A type solid epoxy resin; 2-3.5% of dicyandiamide; 2-5%of hyperbranched polyamide resin; 1-1.5% of a smoothing degasifier; 1-1.5% of a leveling agent; and 8.5-44% of pigments and fillers. By adding the hyperbranched polyamide resin in the coating, resin can be greatly dissolved by hyperbranched ability of the polyester resin, and ring-opening and solidification with the bisphenol A type epoxy resin can be rapidly achieved, and the prepared coating hasa hyperbranched chain. Then, the coating can be mixed with organic matter and greatly attached to the surface of a medium, and the prepared coating has high toughness and thermal stability, and the coating further has excellent thick coating toughness and impact resistance. The film is smooth and flat, and can be used for workpieces which require thick coating such as pipes and electronic components.
