Abstract

The invention relates to a feed additive for preventing early death of litopenaeus vannamei, and a preparation method and application of the feed additive. The feed additive comprises the following major ingredients of microencapsulated haematococcus pluvialis powder, organic acid and esters. Slow release and protection of the organic acid and algae source astaxanthin are achieved through two kinds of coating liquid with different functions; and a double-layer coating process is used, so that the relative independence of the additive is improved, and the reaction with feed ingredients in the application process is effectively avoided.
