The degrading process includes the steps of: crushing or beating botanical waste into base material, culturing and domesticating the rumen microbes in a fermenting tank and inoculating the rumen microbes to mixture of the base material and mineral buffer liquid in anaerobic digestion reactor, and starting the reactor and collecting the reaction product containing hydrogen gas, liquid product and solid product. The further converting process includes membrane separation to eliminate rumen microbes, photosynthetic bacteria degradation in a degrading reactor, and collecting and purifying hydrogen gas.
