Interfaces for positive pressure therapy having various vent designs are disclosed herein. The interfaces include a bias flow vent with design geometries that help reduce and/or minimize draft and noise levels of the fluids exiting the vents. Some of the vent designs include particular vent hole geometries, plenum spaces, diffusers and fibrous media.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for tilting a keyboard of portable computer, in a manner that a rear end of the keyboard is raised up to a predetermined height by opening its cover, so that the user can operate keys of the keyboard more conveniently. An apparatus and method are provided for treating pollutants in a process effluent stream. The apparatus comprises an up-flow canister having a lower section plenum space, a section for a sorbent bed material, an upper section plenum space, an inlet for introducing a process effluent stream to the lower section plenum space, and an outlet for egress of the process effluent stream from the canister, the inlet, lower section plenum space, and sorbent bed material being arranged in a manner which provides for process effluent stream to flow into the sorbent bed against gravity, by a pressure differential.

A vent cover is provided for use with a gaming machine. The vent cover comprises a body for location over a vent in a housing of the gaming machine. The vent cover cooperates with the housing to define a vent space through which air flows to and from an interior of the gaming machine via the vent. The vent cover has air ports in communication with the vent space. The vent cover also has one or more drains which direct water from the vent space. The vent cover is preferably used with an exhaust vent of a gaming machine, directing heated air upwardly away from the gaming machine and preventing foreign material from entering the gaming machine through the vent.

A direct beam solar lighting system for collecting and distributing sunlight into a room. The system includes a rotatable solar collector head to receive sunlight and to reflect the sunlight downward into a transition tube having a reflective interior surface. The light-concentrating transition tube reflects sunlight into a reflective light tube which directs the reflected sunlight through a plenum space into the room. The system includes a drive mechanism for rotating the rotatable solar collector, and a light fixture at end of the light tube to disburse said reflected sunlight onto a ceiling and a wall in the room. In an embodiment the system includes one or more homogenizing reflectors within the solar collector for collecting the sunlight and directing the sunlight more uniformly over the aperture of the transition tube. In an alternative embodiment, the solar collector includes a rotatable tiltable mirror for providing two-axis tracking.

In accordance with a temperature detected with a temperature detection sensor attached to the lower end of the rechargeable battery, a blower fan is controlled by a control section. Moreover, a sensor placement concave, which is separated from a space inside a battery case through a thin partition wall, is provided on a bottom wall of the battery case of the rechargeable battery. The temperature detection sensor is placed in the sensor placement concave so as to be pressed against the partition wall.

In a wall exterior structure, an exterior base is formed of a number of vertical furring strips and a number of lateral furring strips, which are arranged in lattice to each other, each furring strip being a C-shaped channel material. The invention relates to a traction motor for locomotives, in particular to a self-ventilating motor with high-efficiency cooling and heat dissipation. High-efficiency cooling and heat-dissipating self-ventilated motor, including rotor, base, and end cover, wherein the rotor includes a rotating shaft and a centrifugal fan, the base includes a stator core and a casing, and the casing is provided with an outer circular air inlet and an outer circular air outlet. There is an air inlet on the cover, the stator core is fixed on the casing through ribs, there is a ventilation space between the stator core and the inner wall of the casing, and there is an axial ventilation hole on the rotating shaft, thus forming four air passage structures. The heat source stator winding, stator core, bearing and rotor core in the motor with the unique cooling air path structure of the present invention are well cooled, and the generated heat can be well taken away. The motor with the structure of the invention has the characteristics of excellent cooling and heat dissipation capacity, and is especially suitable for the performance requirements of the traction motor by vehicle users.

The manufacturing method thereof comprises the steps as follows: the cool color LED light source is prepared; the prepared cool color LED light source (2) is sealed with the light pervious layer (3) and is arranged in the lamp housing (1); the light pervious carrier (4) coated with the fluorescent material layer is arranged on the lamp housing (1) in front of the light pervious layer (3) to form the white light LED. The white light LED illuminating lamp of the invention can greatly reduce glare, and has ideal heat dispersion and flexible overall pattern.

An improved plasma arc waste processing system has a crucible formed in a horizontally elongated shape with a low-ceiling-height plenum space above a melt pool and a waste input feed arranged sideways into the crucible. The plenum space conducts the off-gases through a channel into a horizontally adjacent, thermal resonant chamber. The combined volume of the plenum space and thermal resonant chamber provides a high ratio of plenum volume to surface area of melt pool for efficient pyrolization of waste at high throughput rates. The crucible and other system components can be arranged in standard sized cargo containers, to be modularly transported and assembled in populated areas or transported to and from remote areas, such as in medical crisis zones, military deployments, and war zones. As a further improvement, a water injector is used to inject water into the plasma field to remove excess carbon and form useful gas byrpoducts.
