Problems solved by technology

[0006] There are no reports of energy-absorbing coatings for laser shock treatment in domestic and foreign literature and patents that can be consulted at present. Other protective coatings such as the Chinese patent strippable protective coating (02137364.7) cannot withstand high-power repetition rate lasers. Continuous impact, the coating is easy to peel off during the impact process, so the metal surface is easy to be ablated in the subsequent processing, which affects the laser processing effect

Abstract

This invention discloses a strippable coating for laser shock processing, which is composed of carbon powders 5-15 wt.%, bonding agent 50-70 wt.%, self-drying thinner 15-35 wt.% and additive 2-5 wt.%. The thickness of the coating layer is generally 60-150 mums. The strippable coating is manufactured by: (1) placing carbon powders in a reactor, and adding bonding agent, self-drying thinner and additive; and (2) stirring uniformly, and adjusting the pH value to 7.5 with 25% ammonia solution. The strippable coating can intimately adhere to the surface of metals, and cannot be stripped during continuous laser shock process, thus having a good shock effect.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of laser shock material processing application technology and polymer materials, in particular to an energy-absorbing layer coating for laser shock treatment, which is suitable for continuous impact strengthening, modification or modification of material surfaces by using the mechanical effect of laser shock waves. Impact forming of sheet metal. Background technique [0002] Laser Shock Technology (LSP) is a promising processing method based on the interaction of shock waves induced by high-energy short-pulse lasers with metallic materials. This technology has been widely used in mechanical engineering, aerospace, automobile industry, shipbuilding industry, nuclear industry, medical engineering, bioengineering, microelectronics, military and other industries. At present, this technology is mainly used for material modification. Impact forming, and non-destructive testing, etc. [0003] When studying laser shock, a l...
