The method comprises the following steps: 1) grinding pokeberry root medicinal material, adding 50 to 70 percent ethanol solution, soaking for 2 to 3 times, filtering extract, subjecting the filtrate to ultrafiltration by an ultrafiltration membrane, adding the filtrate to a nanofiltration membrane for concentration and obtaining concentrate; and 2) extracting the concentrate by using double water phases, collecting an upper phase, concentrating under reduced pressure, and drying to obtain total saponins.
