Abstract

The invention discloses a reagent kit and a method for quickly detecting arsenic content in I-III water bodies and belongs to the technical field of environment detection. An arsenic detecting device of the reagent kit comprises an arsine generator, an arsine absorber and an air duct. The arsine generator and the arsine absorber are communicated through the air duct. Lead acetate cotton is arranged on one side of the air duct close to the arsine generator. Degreasing cotton containing anhydrous sodium sulfate and potassium hydrogen sulfate mixed powder is arranged on one side of the air duct close to the arsine absorber. The method includes steps of sampling water into the arsine generator; adding absorption liquid into the arsine absorber; connecting the air duct; placing potassium borohydride or sodium borohydride tablets and a catalyst into the arsine generator; absorbing color of the absorption liquid after hydrogen is generated and reading the arsenic content by comparing with a standard color chart. The reagent kit has the advantages of simple structure and convenience in connection and the like. Meanwhile, using strong acid and alkali is avoided, and detection safety is improved.
