As is proved by experiment, generation of melanin in human skin can be blocked through total flavonoids in ampelopsis grossedentata by reducing activities of monophenyl oxidase, and whitening effect is achieved; the toilet soap can serve as an ideal choice of a natural plant whitening skincare product, a new basis is provided for developing the ampelopsis grossedentata into the beauty skincare product, and the ampelopsis grossedentata serving as a traditional drug is enabled to be broad in application prospect and commercial value.
