The invention discloses a waterborne glass baking varnish which is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 60-80 percent of waterborne resin, 0.3-0.8 percent of an acid catalyst, 0.7-5.5 percent of a pH regulator; 0.1-0.5 percent of a thickener, 1-8 percent of a cosolvent, 0.1-1 percent of a wetting agent, 1-9 percent of a film-forming additive, 0-20 percent of a pigment and 5-25 percent of water. For the waterborne glass baking varnish provided by the invention, selections and dosages of various components are comprehensively considered, and the selected waterborne resin can ensure high glossiness, high hardness and strong weatherability of a varnish film; and use of the acid catalyst can promote rapid crosslinking of matrix resin, lower the solidification temperature and increases the solidification degree.
