Abstract

The flux is prepared by mixing the following components in percentage by mass: 40-50% of ethanol, 30-40% of rosin, 4.0-8.0% of castor oil, 0.3-1.0% of surface active agent, and the balance of ultrapure water. The prepared flux is enough in surface activity, and is suitable for welding various lead alloy components; andresidues are hardly remained on the surfaces of welding lines after welding, so that cleaning is not needed after welding. Even if few residues are on the surfaces of the welding lines, cleaning is not needed; and the residues are stable in property, so that corrosion cannot occur. As the flux has excellent characteristics, when the flux is applied to lead acid battery busbar and polar lug welding, the welding quality can be prominently improved, the auxiliary workhour is greatly reduced, and the environmental pollution problem is prevented.
